Turning Circle meets regularly for two rituals each month at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center (OBIC) in Columbia, Maryland.  These rituals are called the Circle Ritual and the Moon Ritual.

Our Circle Ritual celebrates the seasons and the solar year.  These include the quarter and cross- quarter holidays.  Different members and friends of Turning Circle design and lead our rituals,  so each ritual has a different flavor. Since our members follow a variety of paths, you may  experience anything from a Wiccan ritual, or a Druid high day, to a Buddhist meditation, or a  Shinto rite.  Circle Rituals take place on the second Friday of every month.  We gather at 7:30  pm and the ritual begins at 7:45 pm.

Please bring a food or drink if you can to share for our potluck social time after circle.  We provide napkins, cups, plates and tableware.

Our Moon Ritual celebrates the phase of the moon during which it is celebrated.  These are  generally quieter, more intimate rituals.  We sometimes move this ritual around to meet during a  specific phase, but generally Moon Rituals take place on the fourth Friday of every month.  We  gather at 7:30 pm and the ritual begins at 7:45 pm.  Please bring food or drink to share for our potluck social time after circle. Be sure to check the calendar to confirm an event before you set out!

We try to stay flexible and occasionally Turning Circle holds additional events. Please keep an eye on our calendar for these special events!

All our events at OBIC are free and open to the public, but we do accept small donations that we use for supplies. We also give back a yearly donation to UUCC in thanks for their generous gift of our meeting space at OBIC.

Please note that OBIC has two entrances, an upper and a lower.  When you arrive, check the  notice board in the upper entrance lobby for our room assignment.
